Garway Talk Community Hub is inviting you to their welcoming volunteer-led hubs!
There’s so many things on offer for local residents, so they can get together and get the right kind of support they need over a cuppa and maybe cake!
At each Hub the following is readily available:
Hub categories
Home Workers TCHub:
Tuesdays 09.30-11.30 (excluding first Tuesday of the month).
Bringing remote workers together to chat and share ideas over a cuppa or just a change of scenery to sort your emails.
Creative TCHub
09.00-12.00 second Saturday of the month
Bringing families and friends of all ages together to enjoy refreshments and bring own crafts like knitting, sewing, scrap booking, water colour painting, board games. Skills share to help inspire someone to learn a new craft! Some activities can be provided like chess & draughts, water colour pallets and brushes, patterned sheets using hub brush pens. More activities in the pipeline!
Community Coffee Morning (“pop up” in established monthly activity)
Tuesday 10.00-12.00 first Tuesday of the month and the TCHub reps will be there as a “Pop Up” on hand at the well-established community coffee morning to enjoy socialising with a wide range of people.
School Drop Off Drop In:
Tuesday mornings (Term Time Only) 08.30 to 09.15, the honesty café is available, self-service refreshments as a pit stop to gather thoughts, use the facilities, before dashing off to continue the days tasks. - TCHub Reps have access to electronic devices to search helpful websites. Residents can get lots of handy information to help their health and wellbeing, as well find out what services, groups and activities are available within their local community or across the county.
- You are welcome to make a small monetary donation to the TCHub refreshments.
- Outreach Services:
- Hereford Council Honesty Library
- Post Office Outreach, delivering post office support in rural areas (every Tuesday 09.30-11.30)
- Community donated books available to read on site or take home for a donation in a jar
