Wykenhurst Care

Providing care, support and enablement to under and over 65’s living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and age-related needs. Day care and respite stays are also available.

Wykenhurst is a residential home in the Whitecross area of Hereford, registered with CQC to accommodate 25 people.

What makes us unique is that we provide exceptional care and support not only for the elderly but for younger adults too. Specializing in mental health needs we find the range of ages promotes the “sense of family” whilst ensuring we continually deliver quality, person centred care for a wide array of abilities, interests and preferences.

Wykenhurst also offers short stay services such as respite care and reablement support.

Each resident has a tailor-made plan of care to ensure all their needs are met in order for them to continue leading a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.

When they first come to live at Wykenhurst a resident is assigned their own key worker, who supported by the staff will endeavour to get to know them thoroughly and liaise with family and friends to be able to support the resident with the adjustment to life in the home. Our staff are carefully selected for their knowledge, experience and sympathetic but confident approach to caring for people, they continually strive to create and maintain a positive and homely environment for all our residents. Family and friends are welcome to visit any time.
