CLD Trust

The CLD Trust is a registered charity based in Hereford city centre offering confidential counselling and wellbeing support to children and young people aged 9-21 across the county. Counselling therapy provides the opportunity to talk to a qualified and trained person about the things that cause us worry or concern. This can include talking about experiences, past and present, relationships, feelings, emotions and the way we express ourselves, or our ways of thinking and behaving.
The CLD Trust counsellors are trained and qualified professionals who will help you develop an understanding of yourself and others and help you find your own solutions. We offer a short intervention programme of about 6 weeks and a range of counselling techniques and approaches to suit individual need.
Referrals - the funded counselling service for 9-21 year olds can be accessed with a referral from a health professional or by self-referral/referral from a parent via the form available on our website, or by calling 01432 269245.
We will be offering funded counselling for adults over 21 as well from January 2023 - check out our website for more information on this service.
The counselling service is accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Young people are offered the opportunity for 1-2-1 support, workshops & groups. The SYM Project also offers workshops for parents and professionals.
Referrals can be made using the self-referral form available on our website or by calling 01432 269245. Referrals are also accepted from GP’s, parents/carers and other professionals.
