Revive Community Cafe
Revive is a warm and welcoming community cafe based in Christian Life Centre on Edgar Street. We are open 10.00am until 2.30pm every Tuesday to Friday. We have a passion to see our community flourish, and that means putting people first.
You will find plenty of comfortable seating, and a varied menu providing a range of delicious food at affordable prices. This includes ethically sourced, direct trade coffee and locally produced apple juice, helping to support small independent businesses. There is a dedicated children’s cafe, with space and toys for little ones to play, and their own special menu too.
Community groups and activities
Our recently revamped and redecorated Community Room offers a safe and dedicated space for local groups to meet. Weekly activities currently include:
Tuesdays
Art group called 'Safe Space' from 12.30pm to 3pm.
Rainbow Mums and Tots 9.30am-11.30am term times, £2.50 includes drinks and cookies/cake
Wednesdays
Fortnightly sessions 'Refresh@Revive' is a Women's wellbeing group 11.30am-1pm
Monthly kinship carers support group on a Wednesday 10am-12pm
Thursdays
Monthly Eczema drop in session for children and parents/carers last Thursday of the month

We are working with local Social Prescribers from a local Primary Care Network to offer a 'Wellbeing Cafe' on Wednesday mornings from 10am until noon. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Further information
We have a 'pay it forward' scheme, allowing customers to buy a meal or hot drink for someone experiencing financial hardship.
