Carer Links Herefordshire


TuVida provide an information and advice service called Carer Links to support individuals who are new to caring for someone or for existing carers who need additional support.

Through a team of Carer Advisors, we work in the community to identify hidden carers or carers needing support.

How Carer Links can help:

  • By supporting carers to think about their own needs and plan action for change

  • By listening and offering a range of services and support to help carers improve their health and wellbeing, including; 1:1 support, information, advice, advocacy and signposting

  • By working in partnership to link carers with all other sources of help and support

Carer Drop-in Clinics

Carer Links are running Carer drop in clinics in various locations around the county, which started in January 2023. This is a chance for carers to come and chat to our friendly and access information, advice and signposting.

These are happening at: 

  • Ross Meeting Centre at Tudorville and District Community Centre - Walford Avenue, Ross on Wye, HR9 5PZ – 3rd Thursday of the month, from 11:30am to 2pm
  • The Forbury Chapel - Church Street, Leominster, HR6 8NQ - Starting 8th September, 1st Friday of the month 10am-12pm
  • The Lion Café - 52 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ – 3rd Friday of the month from 12-2pm. 
  • Hereford County Hospital - Cafe, Stonebow Rd, Hereford HR1 2ER - 2nd Tuesday of the month from 9:30-12pm
  • Belmont Community Centre - Eastholme Avenue, Belmont, Hereford, HR2 7UQ - Last Monday of the month from 2-4pm
  • Parent Carer Support and Information Group - Wye Circus, 7 Fields Yard, Plough Lane, Hereford, HR4 0EL - 2nd Friday of every month from 11am-1pm
  • Veterans Support Centre - 100 Widemarsh Street, Hereford, HR4 9HG - 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10am-12pm
