We all experience feelings of worry, stress, anxiety or low mood at times and that’s completely normal, but when it starts to impact what we do, who we are and our relationships with others, we might need some support to help manage these feelings. NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Talking Therapies provide free and confidential support that can help with common mental health problems like stress, anxiety and depression. Here are some examples of the types of support we provide:
- Guided self-help
- Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
- Counselling for depression – a type of counselling developed for people with depression
Support is delivered in different ways, including:
- Self-help workbooks and guides
- Online courses
- One-to-one therapy (in person, over the phone or video consultation)
- Group therapy
We can also help you access support available in your local community.
