Herefordshire Headway

Our centre, Headway House at Credenhill is spacious and well equipped, offering members a range of activities and specialist therapies, including where appropiate an at home support service.

After an initial introduction and assessment period every new client is offerred a personal programme of activities focusing on individual need, so helping members to regain confidence and make new friends while developing practical life skills in a supportive environment. Following on from this all members are invited to a programme review each term.

The various activities we offer are designed to be enjoyable but also help individuals regain and maintain skills lost or impaired by their injury. The clinical therapies offer physical, psychological and emotional support through individual and group work.

Most importantly clients meet with others who have an acquired brain injury, make friends, share challenges and recovery strategies while spending time in the homely and happy environment that is Headway House, a true therapeutic community.
