England Illegal Money Lending Team
We investigate, prosecute and arrest illegal money lenders (loan sharks) in England and help the people that have borrowed from them get their lives back on track.
We work as Stop Loan Sharks within local communities, within education, and with partner agencies including the police. Investigating and prosecuting loan sharks is an important part of the England IMLT’s work and is combined with awareness raising of the problems and issues that illegal money lending causes.
Report a loan shark in complete confidence
We have a 100% safe online reporting form, available on our website, which you can use to report illegal money lenders to Stop Loan Sharks.
Our team are available 24/7 on 0300 555 2222 for anonymous information taken in the strictest of confidence.
Stop Loan Sharks online training seminars
