Horizon Training

The impact on the young people we support has the potential to bring life changing opportunities.
Since 2014 at Horizon Training we have provided high quality training and support for some of Herefordshire’s most vulnerable young people. We offer a safe and supportive environment for up to 70 young people age 16-24 who have left school and do not feel ready to progress to college or employment. We provide a wide range of educational and vocational qualifications, work experience, personal and social development opportunities.
We also offer training for schools where children/young people are not engaging with a normal classroom environment. Staff work with young learners to establish what has been happening in their lives, how we can build their confidence and how we can best support them to identify and achieve their goals.
Independence, educational qualifications, work experience and employment opportunities attainment, increase self-esteem and confidence, improved social skills, increased emotional wellbeing.
