Water Colour Painting and Drawing Classes
Suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced. It will be a structured course, in that I will provide the subject and guide you through each step, with demonstrations and individual help. As many of you will be beginners, I will be there to help you and guide you through the different techniques. We will cover various styles from painterly, splatter/splashy, cling film, gesso to detailed.
If you would prefer to work on your own favourite subject this is fine, you will receive exactly the same attention as everyone else.
Llangrove Art Class is a small and friendly group. Places are limited to ensure individual attention, so do come and join us. If you would like to join our classes you would be most welcome.
We meet at Llangrove Village Hall on Mondays from 10am to 1pm and on Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm. Term time.
The cost for each 10 week term is £100.
Background
Llangrove Village Hall Committee approached me some years ago to ask if I would run a regular art class. After some persuasion I agreed. I had never taught painting before, although I do have some experience of teaching photography. That first term was a steep learning curve for us all, students and teacher alike, but we survived and I am confident in saying that we all made incredible progress. Teaching painting and drawing has been a most rewarding and pleasurable experience, enhanced by the colourful and mixed personalities in the class.
