Hereford Bowling Club
We're a friendly outdoor, flat green, lawn bowling and social club in the centre of Hereford.
The bowls season runs from April to the end of September each year, however, the club is open all year round with both bowling and social members welcomed.
We are a licenced premises with a lounge, bar, skittle alley and outdoor seating. Bingo sessions are held every Monday afternoon and alternate Tuesday afternoons at 2pm.
You don't need any previous experience with bowls, as coaching can be provided by our bowlers or arranged with the county coach, and we welcome all ages and abilities.

Monday 11am - 3pm
Tuesday 11am - 3pm (closed every other Tuesday)
Friday 11am - 3pm
Saturday 6pm - 10pm

Free Junior Outdoor Bowling
Hereford Bowling Club is pleased to announce the return of our FREE Junior Outdoor Bowling Sessions this summer. Learn the basics of outdoor bowling and play lots of fun games!
Session Dates for 2024:
Junior Bowls Sessions will take place from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon on the following Saturdays:
May: 11th
June: 1st, 8th, 29th
July: 6th, 20th
August: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Who Can Join In?
These sessions are suitable for ages 8 to 17. We are also happy for families to play together
Groups, clubs or schools are also welcome to book their own session to suit their schedule.
Why Bowls?
Lawn bowls is a non-contact and inclusive activity that's great for all ages. It's social and can help develop social skills and cooperation.
Other Information:
All equipment is provided, we ask that you wear flat-soled shoes. There’s plenty of seating indoors and outdoors so parents and guardians can stay if they wish.
