Volunteering at the Conquest Theatre

From front of house to backstage, the Conquest Theatre is run entirely by volunteers and has done so since its opening. Starting off as a community project over 30 years ago, the Conquest Theatre has grown thanks to its dedicated team of volunteers.

Would you like to help your community theatre? Do you want to learn something new? Get involved!

There are opportunities to get involved in every aspect of the theatre from front of house, wardrobe, stage crew, set construction, sound and lighting and more. Do you have skills and time to volunteer with us? Get in touch via email or visit us on Saturday mornings 10:30am-12:30pm to find out more.

In the heart of Bromyard with a car park right outside, the building is accessible and we welcome volunteers from all walks of life and strive to find a role to suit your skills and abilities.

Volunteering at the Conquest Theatre will see you support the wider team at the venue which boasts a varied programme with live on stage events, event cinema broadcasts and film screenings - as well as being a venue for a number of local groups.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Be part of a friendly, welcoming and diverse team
  • Make new friends and connections with like-minded people from Bromyard and the surrounding area
  • Learn new skills, be provided with any required training and be supported to diversify your skillset
  • Help our audience experience the arts.

All our volunteer roles are flexible and there is no minimum commitment level.
