Community Action Ledbury

Community Action Ledbury works with individuals and groups within Ledbury and its 23 rural surrounding parishes to build a stronger and happier community by providing a range of transport solutions.

We deliver transport services for individuals through our Ring and Ride service, taking you to doctors appointments, hospital, hairdressing appointments, to visit family and friends or to carry out shopping trips or enjoy an outing.

The service is open to all ages and requires you to become a member of our scheme at an annual cost of just £15 (£5 if on means tested benefits) or you can join as a 'trips only member' (no transport required) for £10 per annum. The cost of your trip will be dependent on distance covered and you will be advised of the approximate cost before booking the trip.

For community groups we are able to offer up to 3 minibuses (16 passenger seats) three of which are equipped with a tail lift for disabled and wheelchair access. We can also provide minibuses for school and educational trips.

We provide:

• Wheelchair adapted MPV (1 wheelchair and up to 3 passengers).
• Trips out, for members, including a monthly lunch at the Seven Stars in Ledbury (£10 for a two course lunch; £14 to include transport);  and monthly trips to Bromyard, Ross-on-Wye, Tewkesbury market and Malvern retail park.
