CAP Job Club Leominster

Our Job Club is a free weekly workshop to boost the job-hunting process for unemployed people by equipping them with the tools, skills and confidence to find work. It runs on Tuesdays from 10.30am to noon at Leominster Baptist Church, Etnam Street, HR6 8AJ.
In a relaxed setting, with copious cups of tea and coffee with homemade cakes, it involves practical sessions that include topics such as motivation, identifying skills and strengths, CV writing and interview techniques. We also encourage group support and provide time to focus on individual needs through one-to-one coaching. We end each session with a light lunch.
We haven’t scheduled the next course yet due to Covid-19. However, in the meantime, if you would like further information or need some individual help in your job search (putting together a CV, preparation for an interview etc.) please call 07850 969317 or email chrisrice@capjobclubs.org
Money Courses
In addition to Job Club, we also run free courses to help you manage your money better and learn to budget, save and spend well. Available as a group session, we are also willing and able to work with people on a one-to-one basis. Please contact us as above for more information on this.
We are one of several hundred churches across the UK who run Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Job Clubs and/or Money Courses.
Christians Against Poverty is a charity which is determined to reduce poverty in the UK caused by debt and unemployment. It partners its expertise with the care of the local church to offer free money management advice, debt help, help to break addictions and job seeker support. For more about CAP see www.capuk.org
