A performing artist for over 20 years, Landing Mané embodies the spirit of Senegalese music and dance. Landing has studied traditional West African dance and drumming since the age of four, and received formal training in Afro jazz and classical ballet at the National Conservatory of Dakar. He was Artistic Director and Choreographer of Bakalama of Thionck-Essyl in Dakar, a group founded by his father, for five years. Landing runs West African drumming and dance workshops.

Jamo Jamo Arts provide interactive dumming and dance programmes for all ages, from pre-school to University and teacher training. Our drum and dance workshops are a fantastic way to engage students in a musical, cultural and physical activity. Our programs are flexible and can be tailored to suit your needs. Some of the options are:

• One-off workshops - full or half-day sessions in drumming, dance or both. Ideal for 45 minute sessions with up to 30 students at a time.
• Workshop and show - participants work toward a final performance with our professional artists. Great for multicultural days or special events.
• Ongoing classes - we run weekly classes during the school day and after school clubs (for students, teachers, or parents).
