About Money-Box Credit Union
Money-Box Credit Union (MBCU) is a not for profit, member owned, community bank based in Hereford. It was set up over 22 years ago specifically to improve the financial wellbeing of people living or working in Herefordshire. MBCU encourages and enables our members to save for a rainy day whilst also providing access to flexible loans at affordable rates.
Community is at the heart of all we do rather than profit. Our sister organisation, Just Credit Union in Shrewsbury, has received the top accreditation of five stars from the prestigious Fairbanking Foundation and was shortlisted for the 2017 national Social Enterprise Awards for their positive impact on the local community.
