Stretton Sugwas Village Hall

Accessible to everyone, with full disabled facilities, our hall is available for hire by individuals/businesses/charities, offering various regular weekly/monthly activities including:

• Coffee mornings - held every 2nd Thursday of the month from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Friendly chat, tea/coffee/homemade cakes for £2. Just turn up.
• Cool Moves Jive classes - fun Jive classes on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, for beginners / intermediates. A great way to get some exercise and meet new people.  Partners not essential. No previous dance skills needed! £6/session. 
• Gentle exercise classes - for all abilities, but especially suited to those wishing to maintain their general health and every day mobility, and younger people with limited physical ability or other health problems.  Held every Monday morning at 9.30am in the hall (not held during school holidays). £6 per session, payable monthly in advance.
• Hatha Yoga - held weekly on Tuesdays, from 9.45am to 10.45am, and 6pm to 7pm. £8/session.
• Lunch club - held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, from 12.30pm to 2pm. A nice social event, especially suited to those living on their own.  Transport to and from can often be arranged. The cost is £4 and booking is essential.
• Table tennis - every Tuesday from 2.30pm to 4pm for absolute beginners, or for those who have not played for ages.  Wednesdays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, for intermediates / advanced, a serious but fun session. Advanced sessions are on Thursdays, from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. We play to the old rules - up to 21, for those who have played before (although new rules will also be taught).  £4 per session, and tea/coffee is included.
• Tai Chi - beginners welcome on Mondays from 6pm to 7pm; advanced session on Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm. £8 per session.
• Whist drives - held every last Friday of the month from 7.30 pm to 10pm. £2.50, includes light refreshments.

We're within easy access from Hereford and surrounding areas, with car parking.

We have a meeting room for 12 to 15 people, for private/business hire. 

The hall is available to hire for private functions, with variable rates of hire.  There is seating available for up to 100 people, although more usually for up to 50.
