Taking Care's personal alarms are reliable and easy to use with 24/7 support available from their UK response centre. Should the alarm holder suffer a fall, medical emergency or need assistance, they simply press the button on their alarm pendant to be quickly connected to the response centre.
The response centre will make contact with the alarm holder through the personal alarm unit's speaker and should further assistance be required, contact the emergency services or keyholders.
Customers in Herefordshire can choose to have the personal alarms installed on their behalf by a Taking Care advisor, who will also demonstrate how to use the service.
Customers who take regular medication or are registered disabled may not have to pay VAT on their personal alarm order. The personal alarm service costs just £3.64 per week with a one-off registration fee of £69. *
Customers can enhance their personal alarm service by adding a fall detector, monitored smoke detector or key safe to their package.
