Donna Salsa Hereford

I am a fully qualified Teacher of Latino Dancing (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha Cha) with over 18 years experience in this subject, over 30 years experience in other subjects.
I provide classes every week open to the general public:
Mondays: 6.30 pm till 7.30 pm for beginners
Mondays: 7.30 pm till 8.30 pm for improvers/intermediates
Both classes are held in Cafe Miro Dance Studio (also available for hire), 43 St Owen Street, Hereford, HR1 2JB.
Cost: £6 per class or £8 if both classes are attended.
Isolation exercises are given at the beginning of the class to gently warm up, prevent injuries & feeling dizzy. Shines (steps on your own) are demonstrated & practised to music. A routine is demonstrated a few moves at a time then practised to music in pairs. Stretching exercises are given at the end to cool down & help the body eliminate lactic acid which causes muscle fatigue.
No partner is required, the classes are informal & fun, giggling is compulsory! Wear layered clothing you will probably get quite warm, leather/suede/highly polished plastic soled shoes are recommended (not rubber, this will stick when it warms up so you cannot turn so well). Closed in toes are a wee bit safer.
Private Lessons, Parties, Wedding Choreography can be provided.
A new class
A new class will begin on Wednesday 4 October 2023, for beginners/improvers, at Crickhowell Village Hall from 6.30pm till 7.30pm.
You can find me on Facebook.
