Stay Up Late gigs

'Stay Up Late' was started by a punk rock band called Heavy Load who include musicians with a learning disability.  The band noticed that people started leaving their gigs at 9pm because staff finished work at 10pm.  The band thought that people with a learning disability should have the same rights as anyone else to stay up late and party, so the campaign started...

Herefordshire Mencap started the campaign in 2010 with The People's Union who later organised the gigs for themselves.  Their funding ended in 2012 and the gigs stopped.  In 2015 Herefordshire Mencap re-started the campaign. Cost £5.00

Details about forthcoming gigs are on the website at www.herefordshiremencap.com.  You can always ask Rose (07974 526624) too.
