Vennture

Vennture is a Herefordshire based charity, which aims to bring meaning to the power of Jesus' love, addressing the challenges of today's society through Street Pastors, Lean-on-Me, Ambassadors, Building Better Opportunities (BBO) and Family Pastors. Our mission is to 'Love People Better', and we equip our volunteers, so they can make a difference to vulnerable people's lives.

Vennture cares by equipping people to form meaningful relationships with people facing challenge or crisis, either on the street or in the home.

Our carefully selected and rigorously trained volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, including teachers, shop workers, doctors, farmers, solicitors, home makers, students and retirees. Churched and unchurched, those of all faiths and none are united by their desire to keep people safe and help people to help themselves.

Vennture Street Pastors

Teams of church volunteers work in Hereford on busy weekend nights, helping and keeping vulnerable people safe.

Vennture Family Pastors

Volunteers work alongside families in their homes, for an hour a week. Listening, encouraging and supporting change.

Vennture Lean-on-Me

Rigorously trained volunteers care for the injured or impaired in Hereford's night time economy. Accurately assessing, supervising recovery and reuniting with friends and family.

Vennture Building Better Opportunities (BBO)

Under the BBO project, Vennture will expand its services to include supporting parents, carers and individuals to improve their employment prospects through a structured, long-term mentoring programme.
