Community transport minibuses

Community Action Ledbury (CAL) runs the Community Transport minibuses for the benefit of community and voluntary groups and organisations within the Ledbury district.

CAL has three minibuses all of which seat 16 passengers plus the driver. Our vehicles have the ability to safely carry less able passengers and are wheelchair accessible. Our vehicles have tail lifts and seats that can be removed from the vehicle, allowing two people in wheelchairs to access the vehicle. All of our minibuses have air suspension and air conditioning, for a comfortable journey. 

These vehicles are available for hire both on a regular basis or for one off trips. Preference is given to groups with disabilities. Over the last few years the minibuses fleet have kept many groups in Ledbury and the surrounding area on the move.

In addition we have a converted MPV suitable for carrying one wheelchair passenger and up to 3 passengers.

Covid-19: We have risk assessments in place and carry out daily fogging of our vehicles, wiping the constant touch points. We ensure there is good ventilation during trips. The number of people that we can take on trips is reduced at the moment.
