Emotional Support with The Grief Recovery Method

The Grief Recovery Method (GRM) is an educational loss supporting programme that has an unique holisitic approach to loss; whatever loss that may be. Most of us consider loss to be a bereavement but there are in fact in excess of 40 life events that we grieve, where we have experienced an emotional loss of some kind.

There are the physical losses such as pet loss or loss of a limb, loss of health, loss of our home etc but the intangible losses have an enormous effect upon us and our emotional wellbeing. Take loss of safety, or identity or self esteem etc. When we lose them our world is abruptly and often irrevocably shaken and changed forever and for some of us it can take decades to recover emotionally. Sadly some struggle and never quite manage to recover. This is where The Grief Recovery Method is invaluable. It is like no other 'listening/emotional' programme available.

The GRM has been establised for over 40 years and was the brain child of two Americans -  John James and Russell Freidman. I am so passionate about this programme and I have never looked back since my training in 2016, choosing to make this my life's work. I feel so lucky and blessed to have supported so many clients already, all of which are now far more emotionally resilient as they have been taught the emotional tools to be able to face any future losses that may come their way later in life.
