Kington Community Choir

Love singing?

Why not consider joining the lively and sociable group of people of all ages who make up Kington Community Choir. We sing arrangements of popular music and songs from the musicals.

We meet on a Thursday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm (registration is from 6.40pm to 7pm) at The Burton Hotel, Kington.

Kington Community Choir was formed in January 2014 and has since gone from strength to strength.  It was set up as a community spirited not-for-profit organisation.  The Choir's aim is to support local events and local and national charities, having already performed at many local festivals, St Mary's Church, Kington Baptist Church, local nursing homes, Croft Castle, Hergest Croft, Hereford River Festival and having hosted their own concerts.

No auditions are required, just the enthusiasm to sing. Experienced and novice voices are all very welcome.  Just come along and try us out.  All music and folders are provided within the weekly subscription. We sing under the leadership of Catherine O'Rourke, an experienced and well-respected choir principal.

There is a real sense of camaraderie where new members are very welcome, so please come along and join us.
