Royal Voluntary Service

Royal Voluntary Service is one of the largest volunteer organisations in the country. Our volunteers help older people stay active, independent and able to continue to contribute to society. We believe that age should not be a barrier to trying something new. Staying active and keeping in touch with friends is important at any age, but when you're older, it's a crucial part of ageing well.

Royal Voluntary Service partnered with Prudential UK & Europe to encourage older people across the UK to stay active, engaged and connected to their community. Together we have launched First Time for Everything, a nationwide programme of free monthly activity classes giving older people the opportunity to try something new. Activities such as basic camera skills, yoga and art.

First Time for Everything - Keeping active. Staying connected.

At a First Time for Everything event you can expect to enjoy interesting activities and company in a friendly and welcoming environment. Stimulating and enjoyable new social activities that will encourage active ageing and improve quality of life.
