Autism West Midlands Herefordshire and Worcestershire Community Hub
This hub provides comprehensive support for autistic individuals and their families across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Services include information and advice, training for professionals and families, social groups, and advocacy. 

The Cart Shed
The Young Cart Shed programmes offer a place to spend time in nature, develop new skills, meet people, make friends, find acceptance and understanding, learn how to manage emotions, build resilience, increase self-esteem and find direction. 

Climb
CLIMB protects children and young people from criminal exploitation.

Hereford Community Farm CIC
The farm engages people in therapeutic farming activities, including mental health issues, learning disabilities, and social isolation.

Herefordshire Mind
Herefordshire MIND run a wide range of groups and activities.

Herefordshire Young and Young Adult Carers CIC
Providing a range of services designed to help young people balance their caring responsibilities. Supporting young carers to access the resources they need to manage their wellbeing, education, and social lives.

Marches Family Network
Marches Family Network offer short breaks, inclusive activities, and support services designed to enhance the lives of those with additional needs.

National Autistic Society's Herefordshire branch
Provides information, advice, and access to local services, as well as organising social groups, events, and activities that promote inclusion and understanding. 

Onside
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Children's and Young People's 0-25 years Early Intervention and Preventative Wellbeing and Mental Health Service. 

Parent Carer Voice Herefordshire
A forum for parent carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), Parent Carer Voice Herefordshire advocates for better services and support. 

Phoenix Bereavement Support Services
A specialist Herefordshire service for children, young people (5-25), and their families when a family member or someone else close to them dies. 

West Mercia Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre
Offer support and counselling to children and young people aged 5-18.

West Mercia Women’s Aid
Offers refuge, a 24-hour helpline, support, and advocacy for women and children affected by domestic abuse.  

Your GP
GP's provide essential primary care and play a key role in referring children and young people to specialised services when needed. 

Midwives
For young mothers, midwives offer comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the early postnatal period. 

Health visitors
Health visitors support young families with children from birth to five years old.

Kooth
Is an online mental wellbeing community for 11 to 18 year olds.  It provides free, safe and anonymous support around a range of concerns, such as relationship or family problems, school or college worries, feeling low or depressed, drink, drug or money problems.

Lumi Nova
An app available to families in Herefordshire to support children to build skills around managing anxiety, worries and fears (for children aged 7-12 years).

The Mix
The Mix is a digital charity for under 25s. Whatever issue a young person is facing, The Mix is always there for them – via our website, text, or social media.

School nursing
School nurses play a crucial role in the health and wellbeing of children and young people in educational settings. 

SEMH (social, emotional, mental health) inclusion service
The SEMH Inclusion Service is a team of qualified and experienced teachers, practised in working with behavioural issues in primary and secondary settings. 

Virtual school
Herefordshire council provides the virtual school service to support the education of children in care. 

Referral only (tailored support)

All referrals into CAMHS must be completed by professionals using the CAMHS referral form.

Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Specialist mental health service for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, such as anxiety, depression, behavioural disorders and eating disorders.  Working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver tailored care for young people. 

 

Melo is designed to meet individual needs identifying what matters for each child/young person and where appropriate, their family.
