The cost of buying school uniform adds up, so many parents and carers are looking for ways to reduce the costs.
Many schools have a supply of second hand uniform for sale. Often details of second uniform sales or swaps will be found on a Facebook page associated with the school or parents group.

Tips
- Many high street stores and supermarkets run special offers and or flash sales on school uniforms during the summer months.
- If your School / Parent Teach Association (PTA) isn't already selling or swapping second hand school uniform you could propose this to them (and offer volunteer if you can)
- Brush up on your sewing skills, to repair damaged uniform. Or perhaps visit your local Repair Cafe?
- Ensure your child's uniform is labelled so anything misplaced gets returned.
