Let's talk about maths

07 March 2025

Do you sometimes feel out of your depth with numbers? National Numeracy are offering a training opportunity aimed at people who support adults (aged 19 plus) to improve their confidence with numeracy skills. This training is fully funded and there are various sessions running throughout March. Support will continue following the training with access to ongoing support, resources, and networking forums.

The CPD accredited programme, will give the knowledge and understanding needed to support adults who have low confidence with numeracy. The programme is not about teaching maths but focuses on helping adults who may feel anxious with numbers. You don't have to be a maths specialist - just a supportive person to help others get started in improving their confidence and maths skills. This programme is suitable to those supporting others through their role or in the local community.

The programme runs across two sessions. Participants are expected to attend both programmes. The online sessions are delivered on Zoom, and participants will be sent joining instructions by National Numeracy.

Please see the dates below for the online session and to sign up, visit the National Numeracy website.
