New grant schemes launched to improve wellbeing, inclusion and local access

11 July 2025

Two new grant schemes are now open, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), offering support for projects that improve wellbeing, inclusion, and local access.

Are you working with Herefordshire residents helping them to get active, feel connected and stay well through sport?

The Sports Club Development Grant Scheme will offer revenue grants of up to £5,000 to support grassroots sports clubs and community organisations to grow participation, develop inclusive activities and build stronger, more sustainable clubs.

Do you support Herefordshire residents facing transport barriers?

The Community Transport Grant Scheme is a one-off grant scheme aimed at supporting voluntary and community sector organisations in Herefordshire, to deliver or coordinate local transport solutions that improve access, reduce social isolation and strengthen community connections.

For more information about the grant schemes, and details of how to apply please visit the Herefordshire Council website.
