Supporting Young People Through GCSE Exam Season

GCSE exam season is fast approaching, and for many young people and their families this can be an anxious and overwhelming time. Exams can bring a mix of pressure, expectation and uncertainty — but it’s important to remember that support is available and you are not alone.

Understanding exam stress

Feeling nervous before exams is completely normal. However, for some young people, stress can feel intense and difficult to manage. Sleep changes, difficulty concentrating and feeling overwhelmed are all common responses during this period.
