The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Microgrants Scheme

02 September 2026

Community groups, charities and local residents in Herefordshire can apply for grants of up to £250 to support projects that bring people together and promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Microgrants Scheme is now open for 2026 and is looking to support local ideas that help people connect with others, strengthen communities and improve wellbeing. Funding can be used for new projects or to enhance existing activities, including the purchase of goods or services.

Applications are welcomed from individuals, community groups and smaller volunteer-led organisations or charities with a turnover of less than £100,000. Activities must take place in Herefordshire or Worcestershire and be led by local residents.

To find out more and apply, complete the Microgrants application form or contact hwbadmin@worcestershire.gov.uk for an informal chat.
