Wellington Talk Community Hub

Wellington is an active, accessible and inclusive community and its joint venture with Herefordshire Council’s Talk Community Hubs to create an Information and Signposting Service is yet another initiative to help its residents lead fulfilled lives.

As a Talk Community Hub, we seek to do this in as confidential way as possible. We do not have an actual meeting place, but we maximise the benefits of technology. We use websites, Facebook and email as much as possible but to make sure we reach those residents without access to the internet we use Notice Boards throughout the Parish, Newsletters and the Welcome Magazine.

For information and regular updates:

  1. Take a look at your local Notice Boards
  2. Visit our Wellington Community website and view the What’s On and the Activities and Amenities pages
  3. Subscribe to email updates from the Community website
  4. Like / follow the Wellington Parish Council Facebook
  5. Pick up a copy of the Welcome Magazine from the Village Shop
  6. We are part of the Wellington Parish Community Lead Plan Implementation Team which is affiliated to Wellington Parish Council and is committed to acting on parishioner’s wishes as expressed in the 2014 Community Lead Plan.
